We share in the remembrance of Christ’s death through communion held the first Sunday every month and some special services. Open communion is observed and all persons in attendance are invited (but not required) to participate. Knowing that some people have special needs, the Lord’s Supper can be made available to these persons upon special request and at a mutually agreed upon location.
Bread and grape juice (in lieu of wine) are served separately. Parishioners form a line by walking forward to the alter to receive the elements.
Parents retain the right to determine if their children are mature enough to participate in communion. Normally children are in Sunday School during this time. Parents may request that their children be permitted to take communion.
