This year our church embarked upon a special undertaking called The Moses Project: A Year of Reflection, Action and Celebration. As part of this, we have partnered with a statewide organization called the Children’s Alliance. The Children’s Alliance addresses four key areas of concern: access to early learning, child healthcare coverage, child hunger, and the equitable treatment of children of color in our state’s child welfare system.
The culminating point of the Moses Project will be February 22, 2011. On this day, we will join the Children’s Alliance for a day of action and advocacy at our state’s capitol. Join us as we take a charter bus to Olympia. All are welcome to join us. There is no cost. Call the church office or let Pastor Brooks know of your interest.
