On February 15th, marchers from our church completed a 116-mile walk from Vancouver to Olympia to demonstrate support for marriage equality. The march received positive coverage in newspapers and on television. The Columbian ran a couple of articles including one entitled “Same-Sex Marriage Advocates Marching to Olympia.” A number of Portland and Seattle television stations covered the march such as the Seattle CBS-affiliate KIRO.
