Clergy from throughout the PNW and the congregation bless Jennifer’s ministry at Vancouver UCC
“The present. The future. The past…We stand firm in the present, because we hope for the future, because we remember the past.”
With these words, Rev. Jennifer Brownell and several other ministers in the conference invited our congregation to take communion as part of the installation of Rev. Brownell as Vancouver UCC’s newest pastor. And while these words were in relation to the holy gift of communion, they also capture the excitement felt by Vancouver UCC as we installed Jennifer.

Rev. Jennifer Garrison Brownell is our pastor now because we are standing firm in the changing world of today, because we hope for our church’s future, and because we honor and remember the work of Vancouver UCC over the past 127 years.
