Here in Vancouver, it isn’t often that we get snow falling during the Christmas season so we help generate that Christmas feeling with a Children’s Christmas program. This year, not only did the children warm our hearts with their voices, but the snow falling made the day even more special. Pastor Brooks and Ed Martin helped the congregation think about just how Christmas makes us feel by telling a version of “A Christmas Carol” with the children providing the musical backdrop. Several children also had solos during the service and potluck luncheon. It was a great way to celebrate the third Sunday of Advent, the Sunday of Joy, as the sanctuary was filled with a very joyful noise indeed!
